Protect yourself and your staff with Push On/Twist Off style Soft End Caps!
These light weight, durable end caps are made of a tough, flexible material that can take a lot more abuse than any hard plastic caps.
They have the added feature of making it hurt less if you accidentally stop your prop's momentum with your head. (We've all been there.)
These End Caps were designed from the ground up to be easy to remove when you want them off and secure and dependable when in use.
- To attach the Soft End Caps
- Place the opening at the bottom of the cap over the battery compartment (end/tip) of the staff.
- Firmly press down while twisting slightly until the cap is on fully.
- Twist the cap until you can feel it lock into place.
- Do not leave the end cap on the staff if it is not fully twisted into place.
- To remove the Soft End Caps
- Grip the end cap on its ridges before twisting counter-clockwise until the end cap disengages from the notches in the shell. Then pull.
- Do not pull the end cap to remove until it has disengaged from the shell’s notches. Doing so could damage the end caps.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Push On/Twist Off Style End Caps are only compatible with staves/swords released after January of 2020 and staves/swords that have been retrofitted to be compatible. If you have a staff/sword that shipped prior to this date, send an email to Support@ProteusLED.com and we'll retrofit your staff/sword for free with the purchase of a new set of Push On/Twist Off Style End Caps.
